United Bioscience

A brand, brochure and website that explain advanced lab testing through the one thing every patient has in common: being different.

What we forged
Brand campaign · Brochure · Website

The science of life.

Humans are complex. Every patient’s lab results tell a different story, and United Bioscience reads past “in and out of range” to find the risks other tests miss. They needed doctors to feel that difference.

So we put people first. Close, honest portraits fill the campaign, sometimes split and recombined into new faces, under one quiet, wide-spaced line: The Science of Life. A minimal gray and white system with a DNA helix lets the faces do the talking in the brochure and online.

The idea

Being different makes us better

No two patients are alike, so no two faces are either. We mirrored, split and recombined portraits into new people: a visual way of saying that every result is personal.

The brochure

Every test tells a story

A square brochure opens on white space and a helix, then moves through each test with a single word set huge over the photo: Truth for toxicology, Detect for cardio metabolic, Unique for DNA, Different for pharmacogenomics.
