A rebuilt identity, brochure, product catalog and fleet graphics for the largest independently owned barricade company in Texas.

Buyers Barricades started in 1984 with a ’65 Chevy pickup, a 16-foot trailer and a vow to do business One Way Only: by the golden rule. Decades later, they had grown into the largest independently owned barricade company in Texas, and the brand needed to catch up.
We took our cues from the road itself: a dimensional B built like a barricade, Highway Gothic headlines, safety orange, reflective sheeting and chevrons. Then we carried it into a brochure, a product catalog, business cards, hard hats and a full truck wrap.
The identity
The B is drawn in three dimensions, with a checkered face and legs like the barricades the crews set out every night. Two safety oranges, near-black and warm cream make up the palette. Highway Gothic, the typeface on real road signs, sets the headlines.

On the job
A crew-cab truck wrapped in chevrons and stripes, the B on every hard hat, and business cards with the pattern system on the back. Even a ONE WAY sign became part of the look.

The brochure
The brochure is built around the founder’s promise. Big Highway Gothic headlines (One Way Only, Sign of the Times, Work Zone Ahead, The Fast Lane) run over night-shot cones, light trails and amber lamps. It tells the family story and lays out every service.

Catalog & digital
A spiral-bound “Work Area Signs” catalog organizes the whole inventory, from channelizing devices to power units. A mobile experience and social squares put the same catalog in a contractor’s pocket.
