An introductory campaign that gave an enterprise communications provider a name tag, and made sure the US market read it.

EADS Telecom had world-class contact center and enterprise voice technology, but in the US, almost nobody knew its name. So we gave the brand a name tag.
A cast of gloriously retro characters (faces blacked out, scribbled over or pixelated) all wear the same red “Hello, my name is” sticker. The person stays a mystery; the name doesn’t. It ran from trade magazines and trade show elevators to Reuters and Instagram.
In print
Full-page and small-space trade ads, plus a brochure, each lead with a character and a hand-lettered line. The copy does the serious work: no tolerance for downtime, and a phone number to call.

At the show
At IWCE, the characters met attendees in the station, on the elevator doors and on the show floor, all pointing to one place: Booth 318. Peel-off name tag stickers let people take the joke with them.

Social
On Instagram and Facebook the characters got chatty: carousels that introduce “the new guy”, a wink and a “How you doin’?”, and a simple question for the server room: “Downtime? What’s downtime?”

Online
Leaderboards, skyscrapers and mobile units placed the campaign beside the telecom headlines its buyers were already reading.
